BW Build Warranty: A Technology-Driven Company Revolutionising the Construction Industry

In August 2023 Build Warranty Group promoted the technology behind its BW Build Warranty brand, a UK structural warranty provider, saying its LDI Tech platform had moved the process online. According to the company, clients can get quotes, view policy documents and submit warranty applications through its apps at any hour, with live updates.

The firm said it had changed its technical auditing and risk management approach to make it more transparent for clients and insurers, and that digital onboarding replaces paperwork and long waits. It also said its data systems store and analyse project information securely, helping it spot trends and tailor solutions to individual projects.

On service, it cited online chat support and app notifications. Policy documents are issued electronically, which it said cuts environmental impact and keeps records accessible. A mobile app lets its network of surveyors carry out inspections, format reports digitally and send results straight to the platform for its in-house auditing team. A separate customer app lets developers see inspection status, required documents and points of concern, while homeowners can view policy details, submit claims and receive updates from their phones.
