September Auction Concludes a Successful Summer of Sales

Kivells held its September 2025 auction at Lifton Strawberry Fields in Devon, offering land, houses, development opportunities and commercial premises and closing a strong summer of sales.
Maytor, a three-bedroom detached dormer bungalow in Callington, drew heavy interest beforehand and made £254,000, well above its £200,000 to £220,000 guide. At Golant, Fowey, 2.38 acres fetched £50,000 on a guide of £30,000 to £35,000, while 7.55 acres at Trelakes, St Stephens made £95,000, which was £30,000 over its guide.
Two lots were sold before the auction: The Beach Lodge in Westward Ho! at £160,000, above a £125,000 guide, and The Owl Barn, an agricultural barn in Clawton with development potential, for £66,000, compared with a £50,000 guide.
Director Sam Turner said he was delighted with the results and that the auctions attract national and international interest. The firm was collecting entries for its 12 November sale, with other 2025 sales on 8 October and 10 December.
