Why Consider Build-Zone for Your Structural Warranty?

In May 2021, Build-Zone described its structural warranty and latent defects insurance business, which it said has operated for over 20 years across the UK and Republic of Ireland. The firm covers residential, commercial, mixed-use, permitted development and regeneration projects.
Based in Sevenoaks, Kent, it works through a national network of approved inspectors, surveyors, engineers and architects, plus assigned certifiers in Ireland, all vetted by its risk management arm, Build-Zone Survey Services Ltd (BZSS). The company noted that in February 2021 the chartered broker Aston Lark acquired Sennocke International Insurance Services and BZSS.
Build-Zone said it deals directly with its insurer partners rather than via intermediaries, and that its warranties are underwritten by A-rated global insurers and technically reviewed from the design stage. It is approved by TSI and is an associate of UK Finance (formerly the Council of Mortgage Lenders), which it said means most UK lenders accept its policies; major Irish lenders have also accepted them. BZSS carries out technical audits and can arrange building control through approved inspectors, which the firm said can save customers money and speed up resolving any issues.
Its products include lender-approved new home warranties, commercial or inherent defects cover for larger schemes, mixed-use, social housing, completed housing, and self-build and custom build through its sister brand Self-Build Zone. For new homes it said it charges no membership or registration fees and can consider part-complete or finished projects.
