Why Speak to a Few Lenders? When You Can Speak to Them All Through CFBUK

Commercial Finance Brokers (UK) Ltd24 April 2023

In April 2023 Commercial Finance Brokers (UK) described the funding it said it could arrange for property developers, whether first-timers or experienced, through its panel of over 200 lenders.

For refurbishments, light or heavy, it said finance was available up to 85% loan-to-value, with some lenders also covering all of the works cost. For conversions, such as office-to-residential under permitted development, flat conversions or houses into HMOs, lending of up to 70% LTV on day one was cited, plus up to all conversion costs. For ground-up schemes, it quoted funding up to 70% of gross development value, with some private institutions funding up to all costs.

It also covered development exit finance: a short-term facility for developers who cannot achieve their sale price while an existing lender presses for repayment, or a buy-to-let mortgage up to 80% LTV, in personal or company name, for those who would rather keep and let the property. The firm described itself as one of the UK's largest independent whole-of-market commercial brokers, with more than 25 years of trading.
